Bringing people together and building community through musical experiences.

Our foundation is built on feminism and the following core values:

Musical Excellence

We believe musical excellence is essential to effectively deliver our mission and message with integrity, joy, and passion. Professional artistic staff leads our auditioned, volunteer choir that brings a diverse mix of musical talent and training. We embrace our responsibility as global musical ambassadors and value artistic partnerships with other leading social justice and women’s organizations.

Unity

We bring people together and build community through musical experiences that inspire, empower, educate and motivate. We value diversity and inclusion as our greatest strengths, welcoming adults of any age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, political interest, ability, economic, and educational background. Our singing members are a sisterhood of women-identified bisexual, heterosexual and lesbian artists. Non-singing member and volunteer positions are open to all people who share in our mission, values, and beliefs.

Social Justice

We believe in the promotion of equality for all people and groups to end oppression and injustice for affected persons, families, communities, schools, workplaces, governments, and other social and institutional systems. We are artist-activists blending concert and conversation to ignite dialogue that continues after the last notes are sung.

Empowerment

We are a hearts-in, hands-on nonprofit fueled by our volunteer singing and non-singing members, supporters, and community partners. Every member has a voice in our decisions and direction.

We invite audience participation and are committed to making our concerts and community performances accessible for all. We value authentic, loving relationships and support each other in performance and in life.
