Ursula Roma began creating artwork for MUSE in 1986 shortly before moving to Ohio. Her early pro-bono work and several years on the MUSE staff earned her the position as resident MUSE artist and graphic designer until she retired in the Spring of 2013.
She created illustrations using the concert title theme; either song lyrics or a concept-- then sketched ideas that communicated that theme with imagery. One of these sketches usually solidified to become the concert image used for publicity.
Through her business, Little Bear Graphics, Ursula designs and illustrates for businesses locally and nationally. She also creates fine art and sculpture that can be viewed on her website.
