MUSE 28th Season Already Underway!

Even though the choir will not begin rehearsals until September 13th - the committee work of MUSE has already begun. For some, it never stopped all summer. Members of the Musical Excellence Committee are pictured above working on new repertoire selections for fall.

Hours and hours were spent in the recording studio to bring you MUSE's new CD: "We Who Make Our Meaning Clear." The CD is now in the very final production stages of placing songs in order and getting all of the editorial work completed for the inside liner notes.

Auditions were held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 when section leaders and other members of MUSE gathered to hear the auditionees and make selections. We appreciate all of those who auditioned and will soon welcome our new members.

Committees have been meeting to plan events for fundraising, marketing, and the release event of our new MUSE - CMC Cookbook! Be sure to check out the new MUSE-CMC cookbook and check back often for information on our release event - it's sure to be a tasty treat!

Preparation for the opening concerts on November 12, 13 and 14, 2010, has begun. We added a 3rd performance to our concert weekend which will feature songs from the newly released CD as well as exciting new repertoire. Please join us for our CD-Release Concert at St. John's Unitarian Universalist Church later this fall.

Want to get involved? If you missed the auditions or just thinking about getting involved - MUSE would welcome you to our 5th Section - the non-singing group of MUSE members! If you would like to join the 5th section or have questions - send an email to muse@musechoir.org
