Roma to Receive 2013 MLK Legacy Award

The 2013 King Legacy Awards Breakfast, co-hosted by The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and the Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition of Greater Cincinnati, "honors members of the Greater Cincinnati community for their leadership in strengthening our diverse community and promoting the vision and legacy of Dr. King."

Honorees, which include Dr. Catherine Roma (current Artistic Director of MUSE, Cincinnati's Women's Choir) will be recognized at the breakfast on Monday, January 21 at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

As part of the festivities which include breakfast, an awards ceremony, commentary, and performing arts, MUSE will add its lyric voice.

Following the event, a march will begin at 10:30 am, after which an interfaith service will be held.
