Rock the Vote: a Musical Rally for Justice and Responsibility
Description:
MCs: Roxanne Qualls and Jan Michelle Kearney
Performers: Voices of Freedom, MUSE Cincinnati's Women's Choir, Ma'at (OTR Rappers), Drums for Peace, Omope Daboiku--storyteller, and more. Members of the League of Women Voters will be present to register people to vote.
Following up on last year's concert kick off for the concert series (Arts for Change: A Musical Rally for Peace and Possibility), this concert will be an upbeat musical celebration of our right and responsibility as citizens to vote and be counted. Musical talent from across Cincinnati will enliven your night. Join the diverse line-up on artists and musicians. (Program designed in collaboration with Contemporary Worship Planning Team.)
