Give Your Hands to Struggle: A Tribute to Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon

Celebrate the legacy of Bernice Johnson Reagon in an evening of song and scholarship. Featuring the collective voices of MUSE Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir and World House Choir, this tribute honors Reagon’s work as a scholar, activist and author.

Join us for a pre-concert talk with distinguished scholars Dr. Portia Maultsby and Dr. Tammy Kernodle, who will explore Reagon’s multifaceted work and legacy.

Doors open at 2:30 PM. Pre-concert talk begins at 3 PM. Concert begins at 4 PM and will last approximately 90 minutes without intermission.
